We've had a string of deaths at my job (a coworker, coworkers' grandfather, mother) in the past three weeks . . .

I'm not familiar with con business (have only been to cons twice in my life, and only as a visitor). How does this kind of stuff work anyways? Do you have to be invited by the con staff or something? Oh, and it's 59cobalt (with one 'l'), unless you want to make my eyes bleed.

59cobalt>> Sorry, typo! And as for becoming a guest at a con, yeah, I think the staff invite people to be featured as a guest. I think, and usually reimburse them for certain things, if not their entire trip out there. Gina would know more about it since she's been a guest before. ☆もっこり☆
